One thing I have learned from talking with delegates and others is we all have a lot to learn from each other. We've discussed websites and books that we each love and have learned from. I thought it would be great to share those resources here. I will continue to add to this page.
Utah Grass Roots issues a legislative report card after each legislative session to hold representatives accountable to this mission: that Americans "may enjoy the benefits of good government." For additional years, click Annual Reports from the menu on the left of the site for additional years and PDFs.
I encourage you to visit Carson Jorgensen's website and read through his home page and read through his vision for the Republican Party, especially the video and the sections "Standing for Something," "Urban and Rural," and "Caucus/Convention."
When you go to this site, you'll see the Bylaws, Constitution, and Platform.
I love reading. I didn't always love reading, but something switched in me as a young adult. It turns out, I just needed to find the genres I loved and connected with. I love personal development, history, and political books.
And while I want to share title that I love, I'm also hesitant. But I decided to put that hesitance aside and share books that have shaped my political views, and my views on the issues.
Disclaimer: If you choose to read any books I recommend, maybe don't go into that book thinking that I align 100% with what is shared in that book. Some books I recommend, I do fully agree with, but probably not all of them. I don't disregarded a book because I don't agree 100% with what is shared.
